PAYMENT AND INSURANCE IN SARASOTA, FL
Dr. Benson works with patients on an individual basis to address dental health, implants, and cosmetic or restorative needs. We provide personalized treatment plans as needed and we will explain all associated investments and payment options for your consideration. Our motto is “Inform before we perform” to ensure our patients understand the necessary prescribed treatment and their estimated investments associated with that treatment.
Integrated Dental of Florida accepts a range of convenient payment options including cash, personal check, major credit cards, HSA and FSA funds, Prima Health Credit, and Care Credit. We deliver premium care at the most reasonable costs to our patients; therefore, payment is due at the time service is rendered.
If you have in-network dental benefit coverage, all estimated fees, taking into account an estimated dental plan payment, will be due at time of service. Please remember, we can only estimate what your plan will pay based on the limited information they provide to us. The estimate is never a guarantee of benefits or the amount that will be paid. We will file all dental benefit claims and supporting documentation as a courtesy to our patients. This does not, however, transfer the responsibility of your financial obligation to the insurance company. IF the amount paid by the insurance company is less than or greater than the estimate, then you will be billed the difference or issued a credit on the account in the event of an overpayment. Please let us know if you have any questions about our financial policies or financing options prior to your treatment.
If you have out-of-network dental coverage, the insurance reimbursement will be mailed directly to you and full payment will be due at the time of service. Please note, this policy is in effect because many out-of-network dental plans will not reimburse our office and will only reimburse the patients.
We ask that you realize that we do NOT work for an insurance company; rather we work 100% for our patients. We feel that dental benefits can be a great asset for many patients, and we want you to know we will do everything in our power to ensure you get every benefit allotted in your insurance contract. However, the treatment we recommend and the fees we charge will always be based on your individual needs, not your dental benefit coverage
DENTAL INSURANCE POLICY
Integrated Dental of Florida is in-network with the Connection Dental Network.
Connection Dental is a broad network of dental benefit plans with multiple carriers. Some of these carriers include, but are not limited to:
|
|
Please note, not all policies under these dental benefit plan carriers are included in the Connection Dental Network. Your dental benefit plan carrier will have more details on which dentists are considered in-network and what your dental benefit coverage includes.
Dr. Benson believes your overall oral health care is an invaluable investment that should not be limited to what your dental benefit plan dictates as an eligible service. Dental benefit plans do not work like regular health insurance and most include a benefit maximum (roughly $1,000-$2,000) for each plan year. We like to use the analogy that dental benefits are more like a savings coupon to be used toward dental treatment rather than actual insurance. Dr. Benson uses high quality labs and materials and comprises his treatment plans using the best method of treatment regardless of an outside insurance company dictating waiting periods, uncovered procedures, or other limitations. If you have an out-of-network dental plan, it does not mean that you cannot be seen at Integrated Dental of Florida. As a complimentary service to our patients, we will file all benefit claims and necessary attachments for our patients for your direct reimbursement.

Please note:
- There are thousands of insurance options available and a wide variety of factors can affect your coverage.
- Your benefits are contracted between you or your employer and the insurance company directly, not Integrated Dental of Florida
- We strongly recommend that you review your dental policy and coverage prior to your visit
- It can take insurance companies well over 30 days to file, process, and mail the reimbursement check, but the check will be directly mailed to the patient.
